Aporia: Difficulty determining the truth of an idea due to equally valid arguments for and against it.
This is one of the reasons why I love D.C.- I'm in a state of constant aporia (hope I'm not using this word wrongly). There is always some type of debate or discussion going on somewhere, and is intellectually stimulating. I'm not a great debater (can't think on my feet fast enough) but I like hearing the other side of the argument and sometimes when the argument is darn good, I have no choice but to concede.
